Overall, I’m very pleased with the shotgun. It shoots exceptionally well and handles beautifully. I’m genuinely happy with its performance. That said, I was disappointed that delivery took approximately two weeks. I understand this delay may have been due to the carrier, but it was still frustrating. More concerning, however, is the condition of the barrel finish. Upon inspection, I noticed multiple dings and imperfections, which are visible in the attached photos. Given the quality I expected, this was quite surprising and disappointing.

688 Performance Sporting B-Fast

Ordered this new performance shotgun and it arrived at my local gun store because I live in California. Then I waited for the 10 day period before picking it up. It is a smart looking product and I took it a fired it at my Trap range this past Sunday. It shot very well for the first time but, I had to adjust the comb of the stock which was too high for my liking. I will take it back this Wednesday to pattern the gun and then, use it for my local Trap league. I think it was a great purchase and customer service is outstanding at Beretta Gallery answering all of my questions during the purchasing process.

For a heads up please mention that the orginal printed receipt to the gun is inside the thank you card envelope. Spend 30mins looking for it at the store. Other then that the 688 beretta is fantastic! Shot 81 out of 100 targets without adjusting the come. Went three stations straight with missing one target!
