The Silver Pigeon I Sporting is built on the legendary 686 actions, a long-standing favorite among hunters and competitive shooters. It features two conical locking lugs at mid-action, right between the barrels, giving it great locking strength and durability while keeping the action’s profile considerably lower. The advantage is that the eye of the shooter is a lot closer to the plane of his supporting hand: considerably better swing and hand-eye coordination.

The silver pigeon is a decent over and under for a long lasting generation shotgun. Whether it’s your real start into entry level sporting clay shotgun, or a good field gun. You’ll be happy with your purchase. Reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of the price. It’s not berettas fault, it the real value of this shotgun is not what the MSRP price is. Then again though we are all paying much more for items that are not worth the cost paid.

This is my second 28 gauge shotgun and its a beaut! Fired about 30 rounds so far in the five days I've had it and just love it. Am currently developing loads for it and so far so good. Will eventually concentrate on trap and sporting clays, can't wait!

First time shooting today so lots to get used to. I am disappointed that you do not make a flush skeet choke tube for this gauge. Also, I received two modified choke tubes instead of whatever you normally include with the gun. I also got full, IC and cylinder tubes, but why two modified? Is this normal?
