Very good rifle overall. However, the 16 inch barrel is finicky with the ammunition used and worked best with 180 grain bullets at 2600 ft./s. Using lighter and faster ammunition at 150 grain did not give the sub MOA results expected. The twist rate at 1:10 is adequate for most loads except heavier subsonic ones. I am left-handed and it was easy to swap the bolt handle to the left. I did try a 20 inch barrel to increase Precision but the Screws holding the 16” barrel in place were so tight that I broke the screw driver handle provided with the rifle. It was not a 2 minute swap! I get better precision with the 20 inch barrel, which is still a very decent size length even with a suppressor for a ranch rifle. Weight is good. The trigger is crisp. The picatinny has little Realestate so a day and night scope is optimal for south Texas on this set up. The safety latch requires a learning curve and during the training the rifle must remain unloaded. Follow up shots are faster with a straight pull bolt, but follow ups are almost impossible when targeting hog. The first shot is the best and only shot specially at night. So, in summary, I enjoy the rifle because I’m left-handed and the swap to a left-handed bolt was easy. The short barrel requires practice with different ammunition to find a sweet spot with a suppressor. Suppressors are essential at night for many reasons. A longer barrel is a better option if you need to place the humane (head/ neck) shot between 50 and 100 yards at night.
