Woven in Italy, this midweight fine-wale corduroy brings a refined expression to one of European country dress's most enduring fabrics. Its closely spaced raised pile creates natural warmth, softness and beautifully dimensional color, while 2% stretch supports comfortable movement and the easy drape of Luciano Barbera's tailored trouser. 

The taupe color takes particularly well to corduroy's changing surface, shifting gently with the direction of the pile and revealing subtle tonal variation as the cloth moves. A new classic fit for the season introduces greater ease through the hips and thighs before descending to a broader leg opening. The resulting proportion allows the corduroy to fall with a clean, natural drape to the top of a dress shoe while providing enough room to sit comfortably over the taller shaft of a field or country boot. 

A flat front, tailored waistband, concealed zip fly, on-seam welted front pockets and buttoned welt back pockets keep the construction composed and distinctly sartorial.
